Proposed Cultural Diplomacy Forum
EFIACH is developing a proposed Cultural Diplomacy Forum intended to bring together cultural diplomats, institutional leaders, practitioners and thinkers to explore the future of Emirati-French cultural relations and the broader role of culture in international diplomacy. The forum would serve as a platform for high-level dialogue on the intersection of culture, heritage and international relations.
Objectives
The proposed forum would aim to: create a dedicated space for high-level dialogue on cultural diplomacy; explore the role of culture in strengthening UAE-France bilateral relations; share expertise and best practices in cultural diplomacy; and build a network of cultural diplomacy practitioners and institutions.
Proposed activities
The forum may include: keynote addresses by cultural diplomacy leaders; panel discussions on UAE-France cultural relations; workshops on cultural diplomacy practice; networking sessions; and the publication of forum proceedings.
Cultural diplomats, government officials, institutional leaders, academics, cultural practitioners and policy makers in the UAE and France.
