Proposed Emirati Artists Residency in Paris
EFIACH is developing a proposed residency programme for emerging Emirati artists in Paris, designed to foster creative exchange, international exposure and professional development for UAE cultural talent. The programme would provide selected artists with dedicated time and space to develop their practice in the French cultural environment.
Objectives
The proposed residency would aim to: support the international development of emerging Emirati artists; create opportunities for creative exchange between UAE and French artistic communities; strengthen connections between UAE and French cultural institutions; and contribute to the international visibility of Emirati contemporary art.
Proposed activities
The programme may include: studio residency periods in Paris; mentorship from French and international artists; visits to French cultural institutions and galleries; public presentations of work developed during the residency; and networking opportunities with the Parisian cultural scene.
