Proposed Contribution to Francophone Cultural Diplomacy
EFIACH is developing its vision for contributing to Francophone cultural diplomacy, with a focus on the UAE's unique position as a bridge between the Arab world and the Francophone sphere. This proposed initiative would explore how EFIACH can contribute to the broader Francophone cultural dialogue while promoting UAE culture and heritage within Francophone networks.
Objectives
The proposed contribution would aim to: position EFIACH as a voice for UAE culture within Francophone cultural networks; explore the connections between UAE and Francophone cultural traditions; contribute to the international dialogue on cultural diversity; and strengthen UAE-France cultural ties through Francophone channels.
Proposed activities
Proposed activities may include: participation in Francophone cultural forums and events; development of cultural exchange programmes with Francophone institutions; research on UAE-Francophone cultural connections; and advocacy for UAE cultural heritage within Francophone networks.
Francophone cultural institutions, governments, academics and cultural practitioners, as well as UAE cultural stakeholders.
Francophone cultural networks, with a particular focus on France and the broader Francophone world.
Cultural value
EFIACH's contribution to Francophone cultural diplomacy would strengthen the UAE's cultural presence within Francophone networks and create new opportunities for dialogue between the Arab world and the Francophone sphere.
